P-Square’s Biography

The duo of Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye, popularly known as Psquare, were born in 1981 in Jos, Nigeria. The dynamic dancing group who took the Nigerian music scene by storm in 2003 were managed by their brother, Jude Engees Okoye until their breakup in 2017 due to irreconcilable differences in management.
After their split, Paul went solo as RudeBoy while Peter Okoye choose the stage name, Mr. P. They have since released several songs under their solo acts. Peter is married to Titilayo Loretta Omotayo and their union is blessed with a son, Cameron, and a daughter, Aliona. Paul is married to Anita Isama and their marriage is blessed with a son, Andre.

This was Psquare’s debut album released in 2003 under Timbuk2 Music Label. The album produced two major singles—“Senorita” and “Igbedu”.[1] The duo and their elder brother, Jude Engees Okoye, produced the album. The album was sponsored by Benson & Hedges. On October 10, 2008, the album’s reloaded version was released on iTunes and features a different album cover.

Get Squared

Get Squared is the second studio album by Nigerian recording artist P-Square, released in 2005 by Square Records. The album propelled the group to being musical superstars in their native Nigeria. With the success of the singles, “Bizzy Body”, “Oga Police” and “Get Squared”, the group established their celebrity status and sold over 5 million copies all over the country. The album was released under the Square record label and numerous videos were released from the album. The album’s tracklist features few instrumentals, a trait of most P-Square albums. The album was heavily criticized for oversampling of western R&B hits and lacking truly original content.

Game Over

Game Over is the third studio album by Nigerian duo P-Square. On May 1, 2007, the album was released on iTunes. The first single from the album was “Do Me”. A video for the single was also released along with videos for “No One Like You”, “Roll It”, “More Than A Friend” and “Ifunanya”. However, the most successful single was “No One Like You” which stayed at number 1 on the charts for almost 4 weeks until it was knocked down to number 2 by Mo Hits All Stars’ “Pere
