Poor reading culture has finally strangled these amazing guys.

Normally this would have been a serious alarm, notifying us of a serious drop in reading culture but then.

Is it not this our country where some people are just earnestly waiting for the next BB Naija?

The next generation are in trouble.

A great run while it lasted. Okada Books made stories accessible. Made publishing within reach. They gave writers a platform. Looking back, their editorial standards could have been better, but they served the literature community well when there were no real alternatives. It’s sad to see them go under.
