World cup winner and ex Manchester United star Paul Pogba is in a mess.
He has been banned from any any sports related activities particularly football for four years.
All athletes are mandate by their profession to submit themselves to testing at anytime by the World Anti Doping Agency WADA.
They have the right to invade your privacy by knocking on your door at anytime to take a blood sample for a test.
But usually, they do after any outstanding performance in your field of athletics.
Like most times when players put up a terrific performance, they know that there’s anti doping agency waiting at the doorstep of the dressing room to check if what you did was with “clear eyes” and if not, you go explain tire!
The penalty for failing the test is four years ban from sports and other athletes have faced such punishments in the past such as Argentine legend Diego Maradona and our own ex female star athlete Chioma Ajunwa who failed a test in 1992 and couldn’t compete until 1996.
A second fail will result in a lifetime ban!
The game of football is more competitive than ever before, a four years ban could be the close of ones career unlike it used be in the past when people failed, returned and won laurels regardless.
