I am uncertain about this fight…
Ordinarily, in terms of power punch, I would have gone for Ngannou.
However, when it comes to anyone against my fellow countryman, patriotism sets in; plus, Ngannou has been doing too much talking lately, while Joshua has maintained a seemingly unusual silence. That leaves me with an unwavering faith in whatever strategy he will use in this fight.
Joshua’s silence has been misinterpreted for fear. Ngannou himself has expressed that in his remarks but I see it differently.
Joshua’s silence, to me, is what you do when you are up against a very obviously powerful opponent. You don’t want to waste time convincing anyone.
While he rants about his obvious advantages against you, you just want to put in the work secretly and outshine him with an unexpected surprise at the end.
It is a risky one but I dare to stand with Joshua. I know it won’t be an easy one but I must stand by my brother to the end.
Whichever way it goes, Africa will be on the map at the end of the day. That will be the consolation to our victory or fall, as the case may be.
