Rochas Okorocha Statue Of Jacob Zuma Is A Disgrace

The Statue built by Imo state government under Governor Rochas Okorocha to immortalised President Jacob Zuma of South Africa after beating, maiming and killing Nigerians in South Africa is an insult to all Nigerians, and I still cannot fathom the sins we have committed that we are being cursed and punished with wrong leaders and politically stupid followers especially the youths.
Imagine a magnificent Statue in Nigeria to honour a maggot of a personality such as Jacob Zuma where Nigerians are slaughtered daily? I will advice that Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state should kindly submit himself for intensive brain check as even the South Africans will by now laughing at the stupidity of Nigerians to have honoured someone whom they (South Africans) considered as a used ultra always used pad. The people of Imo state will remaih foolish if they did not bring down that dirty statue of Jacob Zuma.
The likes of the late Obafemi Awolowo cannot be forgotten by the south westerns (Yorubas) for the roles he played in the struggle of the Yoruba political survival and leadership sustainability even if the northern , southern and eastern republic in Nigeria should while the likes of Fela Anikulapo aka baba 70 will forever be remembered for his rascal and radical activism for a better Nigeria of which the duo personalities whom are of the Yoruba ethnic nationality has been immortalised by the present governor of Lagos state (Governor Ambode).
If I may ask ” What connect South Africa leadership to the eastern part of Nigeria and also if Rochas should build a statu to honour a South Africa leader is it someone like Jacob Zuma? Why not someone like Nelson Mandela whom will be well a deserve honour as a global figure?
We have the likes of Dr. Benjamin Nnamdi Azikiwe, an ibo man from the east who was the first ever president of Nigeria from 1963 to 1966? What about the likes of Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh, an Itsekiri man from the south/Niger delta who was the first ever minister of finance? What about the likes of Prof. Chinua Achebe, an ibo man who was an intellectual critics and novelist and wrote one the most widely read book in modern African literature? Or the likes of late Dr. Samuel Ogbemudia as I wouldn’t want to mention the name of former Biafra leader since he was accused of being a rebel for fighting to be free? Have they they been immortalised that someone like Jacob Zuma is being honoured in Nigeria? I so pity my fellow Nigerians for we are going to lament for a the thousand years if we do not by now fight against such political slavery in the name of loyalism and silent is golden. The society won’t be ruined by those leading wrong but by those who watch and do nothing about it.
