Police In Akwa Ibom State Arrested Church Elder Who Killed His Wife,For Sleeping with His Boyfriend.

The police in Akwa Ibom state has arrested one Sunday Uko Akpan, a church elder, for allegedly killing his 35-year-old wife and mother of his three children, Martha Sunday Uko, at their home in Uyo, the state capital on October 11th. A statement from the state police public relations officer, Bala Elkana, says Akpan who is an elder at the Light of the World Mission Church, Oron Road, Uyo, had on the said day had an argument with his wife which degenerated into a fight. Later at night, Akpan used a knife to stab his wife and then cut her remains into pieces.
