The employee who download and opened that Zip file to see what the CV was about, must have thought it was one of those Job seekers who could help solve the raging I.T issues in the banking sector, unknown to him, a malicious software has been triggered on his computer.
As the employee closed for work of the day, the hackers would boot up the PC, using high technologies, they began an infection spree, infecting other computers in that network, and even infected their printers which stopped working in a bid to prevent a printout of daily reports of bulk transfers.
From there on, they got hold of priority access computers which communicated with other central banks of the world, sent dubious authorizations and made away with huge sums which they later cleaned via a casino club.
