Biography and Early life
Yvonne Jegede was born in Agenebode, Edo State, south-south Nigeria on the 25th of August 1983. As a teenager, she wanted to be a beauty queen and becoming the next Miss Nigeria. Sadly, her dreams could not come to reality, no thanks to her height. However, she was later to become an actress. Though her parents never welcomed the idea of her becoming an actress but was later convinced after acting at their local church, Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Education
Yvonne Jegede had her primary and secondary education in Lagos State, Nigeria, before proceeding to the Girne American University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations.
Career
Yvonne Jegede started her movie career in 2004 when she featured in the Nollywood movie Missing Angels. Her first major camera debut came up in 2005 with her appearance in the now popular music video African Queen by 2Face Idibia. After her university education in 2012, she came back to Nollywood and starred in movies including Okafor’s Law, Single and Married and 10 Days in Sun City.
In 2015, she produced her first movie “3 is Company” where she starred as the lead character.
In late 2016, she was the cover in the wedding edition of Genevieve Magazine.

Yvonne Jegede is a divorcee. She got married to Olakunle Abounce Fawole after 14 years of relationship in 2017 but the marriage hit the rock few years later. They had a son together named, Xavier Fawole. She spends a lot of quality time with her son and presently not in any relationship.
