Mmmm, the biggest football event in Africa, (a continent of over 1.4 billion people) kicked off yesterday in Côte d’Ivoire with many of the stars who play in Europe and elsewhere on parade, and I have surfed most of the global sports platforms such as BBC Sport, Sky Sports, ESPN, Warner Bros etc, but none has the African football showpiece on its headlines.
Only South African-based Supersport has expectedly focused on the 2024 AFCON.
