In the early hours of Monday, 5th April, unknown gunmen reportedly attacked and set ablaze Owerri Custodial Centre Of Nigerian Correction Service and Police Headquarters near Government House in owerri, Imo state.
According to reports on social media, the unknown gunmen Invaded the prison and Police department and freed unconfirmed number if Inmates and Suspects.
In video of the incident shared online, Heavy Gunfire also rang through the area .
