Our generation is filled with women who are date pool bounty hunters. We have many women who let themselves go in their prime, sleep around with different men for the dollar bill, to keep head above water and live the lifestyle of their fantasies while dismissing the young, sincere, hardworking, responsible and productive men with actual real life goals, passing them off as “broke” and without anything tangible to offer.
In the best case scenario, these dismissals are not spoken directly but in subtle actions of standoffishness that spell lack of respect.
Unfortunately, many of these young men are hell deep in love with these loose and vain women that they decide to wait and be patient with them till they are “ready”. These men actually believe these women when they say they are actually not ready and deny the men access to them while they are being ravaged in bed by rich men who give them the lifestyles they want.
Sun sets and it is dusk, they are approaching 30 and above and you’d observe these women becoming “more focused” and repackaging themselves as moralists, standing on their moral high grounds to pass cheating and lies as abominations in their books while making these patient men swear an oath to them to never do any of those, before they give these men their attention, selling themselves PRETTY EXPENSIVE to them.
The men feel lucky and appreciative of themselves for all the patience and hardwork they put in, to bag this “exceptional” ladies, products that were made up and repacka in a BIG LIE.
Marriage is in and children come into the picture. These men, hardworking as ever, keep toiling day and night to keep the family running, making sacrifices everyday that they are hardly ever around to play with the children and put their pampers on for them. These children grow up to know their mothers as THE ONLY HEROES in the story of their upbringing.
These children, the males especially and quite unfortunately, consequently dedicate ALL their success and life’s achievements to their mothers ONLY because she was the one they were seeing giving them food and dressing them up for school. Their mothers enjoy the hero”s tag by these children and NEVER correct this in the minds of the children.
In some cases, these mothers continue their looseness in marriage while the man keeps toiling outside but let us leave this scenario out for the sake of benefit of doubt.
So it goes on and from the onset, the playing field is not level and is always set against the honest and true man out there. This is the story of MOST sincere and upright men in the messy world of today where MONEY, MATERIALISM and VANITY rule.
Looked at deeply, marriage (which is actually supposed to be a blessing from the Creator) is no longer quite an institution that the serious minded, deep thinking man looks forward to going into, even though his heart is open to exceptions in miracles. Give him rain, give him sunshine and he’d shudder at it all over again and almost never consider it in the world of today.
