When I say that Arise TV is the best local TV in Nigeria at the moment, as none of their competitors come close to them by miles, they keep validating that truth.
The time is 1:46 a.m., Nigerian time. Arise is the only local TV station showing live coverage of the US president’s and Ukraine president’s joint press conference.
No other local TV station in Nigeria is giving its audience live coverage from Washington at the moment and this exemplifies the best of Arise TV for me.
And Arise is very consistent with these values.
Whether it is giving its audience live coverage of UK lawmakers debating at the House of Commons or House of Lords or a live feed of South African lawmakers having their session, Arise gives its audience a glimpse of how modern democracies works, a privilege ahd access that was only available to CNN viewers living in Nigeria before.
I wonder how Nduka does it, but he has created a brand that is a towering giant, towering above its rivals.
This is why I believe they will need our support to grow bigger than this because they are giving us free content that people who live abroad pay a premium for.
