Mummy Zee Is A Typical Example Of How Nigeria Has Failed It’s Youth

After all is said and done,

One of the big elephants in the room, which we are not discussing well enough, is how unfairly Nigeria, as a country, has treated its young demographic

Sister Debbie known as Mummy Zee and her husband are both graduates of mathematics and geophysics, but they could not afford to buy a fridge, mattress and fan until they had this Twitter breakthrough.

Until this breakthrough came, they had not seen 500k in their bank account before.

And the lady and her husband are not an outlier; many young graduates in Nigeria are like them, and they are many.

Barely making enough to feed and pay bills.

Pinching and managing through it all with the mindset that e go better.

Meanwhile, their peers and agemates in Canada have already bought their first house and are on the cusp of buying their second property.

Nigeria is a dysfunctional country that eats the young alive for sacrifice, but we can’t continue this way.

Young people deserve better.

They don’t need randomness of luck before they can be able to afford to buy basic items in the house.

Nigeria must work.

I seriously want my country to work—not because of any political affiliations, but because the young people of Nigeria deserve a working country.
