A Nigerian lady named Peace Tom Ebong on Facebook has advised people to find out their potential partners genotype before entering a serious relationship.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, July 25, Ebong who is a fashion designer shared her advice after losing a colleague to sickle cell anaemia.
Her post reads:
“Before you begin a relationship…. Please find out their Genotype. Don’t fall in love without knowing the Genotype of the person… The pain of sickle cell anemia is worse than heartbreak. We just lost a fashion designer who was a sickler. Please pity your children’s life before you fall in love. Please.”
