Gospel Singer, Aduke Gold Dies At 37

The gospel music community is mourning the loss of Aduke Gold, a talented singer, and child educator, who passed away at the young age of 37.

Born Ajayi Aduke Morounkola, she hailed from Ilesha and grew up in Ogba and Badagry areas of Lagos.

With a music career spanning over two decades, Aduke Gold mesmerized audiences with her powerful live performances, including a heartfelt tribute to the late gospel artiste, Baba Ara. Her hit track “Nitori Ogo” (2021) remains a fan favorite.

Beyond her music, Aduke was passionate about teaching young children, holding degrees in History and International Relations from Lagos State University and Early Childhood Education from the University of Lagos.

Aduke Gold’s legacy will continue to inspire countless lives through her music.
