In an interview for GQ Magazine’s October issue, Beyonce opened up about her music, her new whiskey line and the challenges of maintaining privacy in today’s digital world.

“We live in a world of access”, She said, reflecting on now technology has changed over time. She recalled how she and her husband used to rely on calling cards and Skype to stay connected during their early relationship.

“I couldn’t afford the international hotel bills, so I literally would get international calling cards to call him”.

Beyonce also discussed the overwhelming amount of information now available, saying:

We have access to so much information, some fact and some complete bullshit disguise as truth”.

She expressed concern over new technologies like Al, recalling a moment when she heard an AI-generated song that closely resembled her voice;

” it scared me. It’s impossible to truly know what’s real and what’s not”, She added.

The singer emphasized the importance of protecting her personal life, especially for her children;

“One thing I’ve worked extremely hard on is making sure my kids can have as much normalcy and privacy as possible. It’s very easy for celebrities to turn our lives into performance art, but I’ve made an extreme effort to stay true to my boundaries and protect myself and my family”, She explained.
