Nigerian Celebrities like all of us are not Immune to death. Some of them have faced the unimaginable including near-death experiences that tested their faith and courage.
Here are Nigerian Celebrities who have stared death in the face but miraculously survived:
1. Yul Edochie
Yul Edochie in 2019, was involved in a fatal Accident that nearly claimed his life but he miraculously survived. The incident left an indelible mark on him and in 2020, the movie star shared a profound reflection on Twitter.
He wrote:
“My whole life flashed before me in a second and a voice told me it’s over then blackout. But God gave me a second chance. This second life is dedicated to helping people, making the world a better place and spreading the word of God.
2. Uche Elendu
On January 12, 2022, Nollywood Actress Uche Elendu had a narrow escape from death when an Arik Air plane she was on Reportedly crash landed. The actress who recounted her near death experience on Instagram, expressed her gratitude to God for sparing her life.
In her post, she also shared her encounter with make air host who made derogatory remark about her faith and dismissed her faith in Divine intervention.
3. Melvin Oduah 
In a dramatic twist of fare on May 2, 2022, a well-known actor and Big Brother Naija Ex-housemate narrowly escaped death in a horrific motor Accident.
Coming out of the severe accident with his life intact, Melvin took to social media to express deep gratitude to God for his miraculous escape, Along with a picture of his badly crushed car. He added a simple yet powerful Caption: “Thank you Jesus”.
4. Jide Kosoko
Veteran Nollywood Actor, Jide Kosoko narrowly escaped death in 2014 following a ghastly motor Accident.
The Actor who was driving himself at the time miraculously survived the accident after his car lost control due to brake failure.
As he was driving near Ikeja shopping mall, The brakes of his car Suddenly failed causing it to spin out of control. The accident left the car in ruin, jide managed to escape with his life.
The next day he went to church for Thanksgiving and share his story of survival.
5. Angela Okorie
The Nollywood Actress in 2019 survived what can only be described as a horrific attack from suspected assassins.
Report had it that she was short multiple times with twelve bullet piercing her body. Despite this, she miraculously survived the ordeal. In an Instagram post, she shared an X-ray video showing ten bullets that had been removed from her head and two from close to her eyes.
Angela credited her survival to God’s intervention and described it as a clear indication of Divine plan.
