3 Things To Do To Control Your Financial Life

If you can do these 3 things, you’d be in control of your finance and your future.

1. Delayed gratification: Most parents thought this to their kids, just that they blew it up along the line. When people gift kids money, you have to keep it aside for the longest time possible, because if you act out of excitement, you’d be acting it wrong.

Delayed gratification essentially is a way to delay for as long as possible till the need is very necessary. People are always drawn with the mindset of spending first and later struggle to manage what is left till another comes.

You must delay any form of urgent gratification, act as if `it didn’t dey` even when e boku, you might not live the lifestyle that may be expected of you, but ultimately you’ll outlive any form of lifestyle in the future, while the flashes of exorbitant lifestyle fills the air, just draw solace in your abundance.

2. Living below your means: This is by far the best way to live. Unforeseen events are everywhere, they are inevitable, it’s better to hope for the best and prepare for the worst, than to live on eggshells hoping never-to-be met with one. Always choose the former as the latter is just a disaster waiting to happen.

You have to live below your means because lifestyle-shifts attracts much requirements and keeping up is another thing entirely. Sure, you can fake the lifestyles but the bills that comes with it must be paid and in full.

3. Environment: Your environment dictates so much– only a small fraction of people could work at their peak irrespective of the environment and it comes with strict discipline that only a few could cope with. There’s even a level you can’t break above based on the environment you find yourself.

What is more shocking is, you’re better-off alone harnessing your own energies than be in company or an environment making you act below your capacity, In all, yearn for an environment that keeps your eyes on the ball.

Finally, be in a scalable industry. Be like the bird that perches on a tree branch, for their hope isn’t on the strength of the branch but their wings.
