Fanbase and `stanning` is causing a whole lot of issues to music charts.
“Kese” by Wizkid has been taken down by Apple Music.
The streaming platform saw tons of bots streaming the song thereby manipulating the charts bringing the newly released to number one.
This is a sad one to see as it’s currently depriving true music lovers from accessing the songs of their favourite artiste, because of a few `stans` who would use dubious medium to rank songs.
Fans are now going above and beyond using various methods at their disposals including `farming` to bring their fave’s song to number 1.
Like Kizz Daniel rightly said, all artistes should focus on their craft and forget rankings because nowadays everything can be manipulated.
Great song, great delivery but no longer on Apple music.
