Who dances better between Chris Brown, Usher and the legendary Michael Jackson?
Let’s start with Chris Brown
He’s the most fluid and has great athleticism. The dance performance in his 2012 ‘Turn Up The Music’ video still eats a lot of stuff that came out before and after it.
His routines are versatile, break dance, stomp, matrix, acrobatics, Afrobeats, name it.
He’s just limitless.
Another amazing thing about CB is that he’s capable of spontaneous dance moves.
Example: ‘Zero’ music video (towards the ending).
He’s a natural.
Usher: Also a good dancer. Although unlike Chris, he has a more relaxed and s€xy dancing style.
However, you can watch CB do a solo freestyle and be entertained, but Usher may not wow you like that solo.
He’s at his best when doing choreographed routines with backup dancers.
Michael Jackson: Talk about being sharp, he was.
The boys will forever bow before his throne.
However, I think MJ’s dance moves were repetitive: crotch grabs, spins, robot, moonwalk, more spins and more hip thrusting.
Yes, he inspired a lot of dancers (the same way James Brown inspired him).
But at the risk of being dragged, MJ’s dance moves were mostly predictable.
His emotional expressions and precision made those overdone moves cool.
I still enjoy the dance breaks in ‘Thriller’ and ‘Remember The Time’, as he did things differently in those music videos.
One time rapper Mase said CB dances better than Usher and MJ, and people weren’t having it.
Meanwhile, it’s a fact.
Nobody, past and present, can outdance CB.
