    Tips To Avoid Gaining Weight During Festive Period

    One thing is sure to happen during festive period, you will eat till you pop. While many have decided to give up on their on their weight loss goals and journey, there are many ways to ensure you are not overfed or you stick to your fitfam goals.

    1. Use a small plate and Portion Control

    This is an unknown hack, but if must eat any food, use a small plate which will reduce your portion size so that you’re not overfed.

    2. Eat Healthy

    Stock up on fruits and veggies like carrots, watermelon, cucumber, lettuce, pineapple, oranges etc. The great thing about this fruits and vegetables is that they’re quite filling. You can also make salad or smoothies with them.

    3. Stay away from carbonated drinks

    There are so many alternative to soda. Like freshly squeezed juice and even yoghurt. Keep your alcohol level to a minimal level because alcohol has as many calories as soda.

    4. If you’re going, eat before you go

    One reason people eat alot is wherever they are during festive season, they’re offered food that’s so high in calories. This can be sorted out by eating healthy before you out so that you can say no when you’re been offered food.

    5. Take long walks

    Don’t just eat and sit down during festive season,  you have to move around. When you feel stuffed and constipation, drink lot of water and talk long walk.
