The best season of the year to own a property is between the month of September and December.
I will tell you why I said so.
Many real estate companies will be rolling out a lot of discount offers and bonuses on their properties within this period.
To wrap it up, many more will be coming towards the end of the year. It will be in your best interest to save money for their Black Friday and Christmas offers.
In fast-developing cities like Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Abuja, Ibadan, Enugu and Asaba, you can search out for genuine estate properties at the prelaunch stage (or early stage of development) and invest immediately.
You won’t know how much of a strategic decision you took until you return 6 months later to ask the developer the current worth of the property.
Right under my watch, I’ve watched a property go from 750k to 5M, 3M to 5M, 9M to 14M in Lagos within a short period.
In Aba, I saw a land go from 750k to 950k/1M, 1.2M to 1.5M in 3 months.
Now imagine what the appreciation rate will look like in the next 5 years.
Instead of leaving that money you have no intention to use in your bank account for 3, 6 or 12 months to keep depreciating in value, throw it into land banking and watch the magic happen in the next 3 or 5 years.
If you are worried about working with a genuine real estate company, reach out to me privately. I can only recommend companies I have personally purchased their properties time and time again.
I do this because I have thoroughly verified them secretly, patronized them and monitored their processes to be sure they don’t have hidden charges.
I trust that you will find this helpful.
Have a great new week.
