Did you listen to the leaked voice note between a Pilot and a young lady whom he was begging so desperately for sex?
He begged and begged the girl and she kept saying she wanted to sleep.
Then he said, “We would be done in 15 minutes and we would just cuddle and sleep”.
The lady responded, “I don’t want to cuddle.”
This post is not about the pilot and his sexcapades.
This post is about how that sentence reminds me so much about how we make money online these days.
Selling online feels so much like 15 minutes of doing and some hours of cuddling.
You set up a Facebook Ad in 15 minutes
You see some result in hours
You make a social media post in 15 minutes
You see some result in hours
You design a new funnel on your sketch book in 15 minutes
You feel an excitement in your belly for hours
You make that Canva design in 15 minutes
You shoot that 1 minute head talking video in 15 minutes
You study someone’s funnel in 15 minutes
You learn that new tip on YouTube in 15 minutes
Simple online marketing feels to me like a collection of many things that we do in many 15 minutes
Then the results show in hours
Yes it can get complicated.
You can deceide to shoot a one minute video that takes 8 hours
But my point is- Even the one who made a one minute video in 15 minutes can make great results from it.
As a small business owner, you may just need 2 times 15 minutes each everyday to do your online marketing, then you continue with your other activities for the day.
Maybe if we start looking at it from this angle, we would see that it isn’t so complicated and we would get better at marketing our small businesses online.
Honestly, that’s how I do my online marketing.
