Peter Okoye and Jude Okoye’s case is not yet over.

They appeared in court for Jude’s trial. Remember, Peter accused him of converting funds made for personal use. Something around $1 million and £34,537.

And!

He’s saying Jude allegedly ran him street with a company Jude created called ‘Northside Music Ltd’.

Notice the name is similar to ‘Northside Entertainment Ltd’, which P-Square created in the mid 2000s. (You’d often see the company name in their music videos)

When Northside Entertainment was established the twins were the directors while Jude managed the company’s 3 accounts (naira & dollar).

However, Jude allegedly went behind Peter’s back to create Northside Music, and signed artists like Cynthia Morgan to it.

He also made his wife Ifeoma the olowo ori mi of his company.

Peter told the court she owns 80 per cent of the shares.

He said he didn’t know Jude’s company was registered since 2015 and running illegally for two years before P-Square split in 2017.

During their break-up, he wasn’t receiving royalties from their original company Northside Entertainment.

He said Jude didn’t deny the alleged offence when they had a meeting with the EFCC.
But his twin Paul kept insisting that nothing spoil, that Jude even owned P-Square.

Peter was like, how? When did he become the owner of P-Square?
Senior bros is just our manager.

In fact, what does his wife Ifeoma have to do with their business affairs?

He claimed that once Jude and his wife started their Northside Music thing, everything changed.

Royalties coming into Northside Entertainment Ltd., where he and his twin are shareholders, had irregularities.

In other words, Peter is looking out for himself and Paul amidst their strained relationship.

But because Paul and Jude have become Ananias and Sapphira, that one no send.

He said during a London tour, investors approached him about buying their music catalogues, but they required access to see the back-ends (data records of their work like publishing companies, sales, copyright registrations, licensing, etc).

Jude was reluctant to send the back-ends to him.

When he eventually did, he found that Jude had tampered with the information on their originals, scaring off over 7 potential buyers.

The trial continues on May 23.

Na Naija we dey, dem go drag this case until fowl grow teeth.
