Obi Cubana was born on April 12, 1975. He hails from Oba in idemilli South local government in Anambra state, Nigeria.
He attended central primary school where he obtained his first school living certificate, he later obtained his West Africa Senior School Certificate (WAEC) at Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS) Onitsha.
He bagged his first degree in Political science from the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka in 1998.
