Lord Zeus Appears To Be A Fan Favorite

I saw a video of comedian Lord Zeus pay a surprise visit to a market.
He wore a strap dress, which looked rather funny though.

Upon his arrival, he was warmly received by the traders.
He doled out cash to the market women from stall to stall.

When you thought he had run out of money to give away, he pulled out another stack of cash from his bag, causing the women’s excitement to grow even more.

A crowd fell over themselves while trying to touch and hug him.

A woman who seemed particularly touched by his generosity packed food items and gave him.

I loved the kind act he displayed.

But then, I thought about the fact that Lord Zeus can get a pass for cross dressing. He has never been vilified for it unlike most of his counterparts.

You don’t just wake up and cross-dress to a marketplace, especially in the South-East where I’ve lived for years. A lot of folks in the region are not down with it.

But he was able to escape judgment and potential danger because he is the ‘good’ guy and because he shared money with the traders, while other people with similar gender expressions often face harsh and violent reactions from the same society.

Again, I’m not judging Zeus.

I just found it interesting.

It’s common to hear remarks like “b@n all these Bobrisky people,” usually said with open disgust.

But they’re your hero the day you receive 5k from them.

Isn’t it hypocritical?

I mean, I saw elderly women going on their knees to pray for Lord Zeus as he strutted around in the agbomma dress.
They called him their child with such fondness and affection.

Oh well…
