How Uche Okonkwo Rode On Peter Obi’s Wave To House Of Reps

The late Annie Okonkwo’s first son, Uche Okonkwo (in the middle), was in the news a few months ago.

He caused a major political upset by defeating Obi Cubana’s elder brother on his way to winning the House of Representatives constituency seat, which they both slugged it out for.

Uche rode on the wing of Peter Obi’s tsunami and then his late father’s political structure and social capital to achieve this impossible

On Tuesday, Uche will take the stage to be inaugurated as a House of Representatives member.

Sadly, his illustrious dad and former Senator (the one in black), who was also his political godfather, passed away yesterday in the faraway United States of America after battling cancer.

He won’t be there to witness his proudest moment.

Life!

May his soul rest in peace.
