How to Create a Fully Functional PayPal Account in Nigeria (or any restricted region) in 2024

Creating a PayPal account in Nigeria (or other restricted regions) is almost impossible, especially if you want to both send and receive money. Fortunately theres a loophole method that bypasses these restrictions, allowing you to have full access.

How To Setup A Paypal Account From Nigeria

Find a fresh email account that hasn’t been used for PayPal. (This email must never have been used to sign up on PayPal before.) Don’t reuse an old email, especially one linked to a previously blocked PayPal account.

Download the 1.1.1.1 app, a DNS resolver, from the App Store, Google Play Store, or directly for Windows/MacOS/Linux. This app helps in resolving your DNS to a different location, essential for accessing restricted PayPal services. (This Step can be Skipped Tho, no bs!)

Before creating your account, clear your browser’s cookies and cache. This ensures there’s no residual data that could trigger restrictions or associate your new account with previous failed attempts.

NOTE: Ensure you Use a REAL name that can be Identified with Real Documents when filling out the information.

Head over to your browser and type in http://paypal.com/ae instead of the standard http://paypal.com. The /ae (for the UAE) allows you to create a PayPal account without the limitations imposed on Nigerian or other restricted accounts.

On the PayPal page, choose the option to sign up for a Business Account. This type of account gives you more features and is essential for bypassing regional restrictions. Enter your new email, create a password, and agree to the terms.

Fill in your business details. select “Private Corporation,” and choose “Digital Goods” as your business type.

If you don’t have a registered business, no worries! You can input random numbers for a business registration number. (I recommend using your phone number).

Use a phone number that has never been linked to a PayPal account before. Ideally, use a UK or UAE number, which you can get through apps like “Dingtone” or “TextNow.” (You can also use your Nigerian Number)

When asked for your business address, search for and use a random UAE address(screenshot or write down to remember). This ensures consistency with the /ae URL and helps to avoid triggering any region-specific restrictions.

After completing the registration, PayPal will send a verification code to your email. Enter the code to verify your account. Keep your identification details because you will need it to verify your identity.

Incase you noticed your account has been locked/blacklisted. Don’t panic, it’s normal. Just provide the necessary identification document that matches the name used in opening the account (you can use your Nigerian ID such as: Drivers License, National ID, Passport).

Once the account is set up, the next step is to link a bank account and a card. This is crucial for making the account fully operational. (That’s where Grey Comes in) but I personally recommend you wait 2 days before linking a card or bank account details).

Ensure your account remains in good standing by whitelisting it with PayPal (do not log in without imputing the location used in creating the account). as it can lead to account limitations.
