The Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry in Enugu, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, addressed his congregation in a video shared on the church’s Facebook page and disclosed what he asserted the Divine Spirit communicated to him when he faced consequences for stating that Peter Obi is ungenerous during the presidential election.
According to him, the Divine Spirit manifested and conveyed that he had been treated unjustly. Additionally, he unveiled that the Spirit assured him of His presence during his seclusion in the monastery, It is worth noting that the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Bishop Callistus Onaga, penalized Father Mbaka for his remarks and sent him to the monastery for a period of 8 months in October 2022, enabling him to reflect on his divine calling.
In the video, Fr. Mbaka shared the following words: “When I was punished for the statement made about Peter Obi and Instructed to retreat to the monastery, I was in my bed one early morning when the Divine Spirit visited me, I witnessed every member of this congregation coming to my residence, expressing their solidarity as I embarked on this journey.
“The Divine Spirit conveyed to me that had been mistreated. He also instructed me to comply with the directive and proceed to the monastery, assuring me of His constant companionship and benevolence. The Spirit reassured me that would embark on the journey and return unharmed, with the Adoration Ministry remaining secure. It was only after the Spirit departed that I realized I had entered the spiritual realm. experienced a profound sense of awe and had an overwhelming sensation throughout my body.” (Translated from Igbo)
