Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has instructed that Mrs Chidimma Amaechi, who gave birth to a set of Quintuplets few weeks ago should be given the whooping sum of two million naira.
The commissioner for women and social welfare, Ify Obinabo, announced this in her office on Monday and revealed that Soludo has given his approval for the payment.
Recall, Chidimma Amaechi, an ex-corp member from Ebonyi state but based in Anambra gave birth safely to three boys and two girls at Life Hospital Awka, Anambra State after Nine years of childlessness.
Speaking about the state’s contributions to the couple, Obinabo said that the funds which is being handled by the ministry were a sign of Support for the Quintuplets welfare.
The commissioner assured the family that the help would be delivered as soon as the ministry had finish processing it.
