Joeboy Has A Zen Vibe Around Him

I don’t know much about Joeboy the singer. But I watched his interview with Joey Akan recently and he seemed like a cultured guy.

There was this zen vibe he had that drew me in.

I like calm people.

He said he didn’t think he’d come this far, as a lot of folks said he didn’t have the typical artist look and swag.

He also talked about understudying the music business while signed by Mr Eazi under emPawa Africa and spoke highly of him.

He’s the captain of his own ship now.

I could tell he’s well-equipped to succeed on his own from the way he broke down every aspect of his team.

Honestly, I was impressed by his sharp mind.
Wait, y’all didn’t tell me Joeboy isn’t your average artist.

There was nothing like yo mehn, you gat warra mean…

Rather, he had insightful answers for every question thrown at him, in proper English, without repeating the same points.

One part that stood out for me was his continuous appreciation for his fans, to where he mentioned the name of a guy who’s been a diehard fan over the years.

He said those are the kind of people artists should endeavour to engage, in his case he often brings them together for parties.
He said it’s better than overlooking their kind words and searching for comments from trolls.

I thought that was remarkable! ❤️❤️❤️

As for his career, he said he’s moving at his own pace.
No pressure.
Also did a little humble brag that his money is good!

In all, I saw a sound, proper young man who’s intentional about building his own community and really just being himself.

Abeg, where does one sign up to be a Joeboy fan? Because I like what I saw!

Like I said, I don’t know his work too well, apart from songs like ‘Sip Alcohol’ ‘Blessings’ ‘Baby’ and ‘Nobody’ (as a featured act).

But I’m willing to be initiated.
