Today in History: Enyimba FC Conquered Africa.
On this day Dec. 12, 2003, Enyimba FC of Aba became the first Nigerian football club to win the CAF Champions league trophy against Ismaily SC in Egypt. Coach Kadiri Ikhana was the man who masterminded the triumph.
Enyimba, enyi!
In 2004, under the tutelage of Coach Okey Emordi, Enyimba FC repeated the same feat by winning the coveted trophy back to back, making them the second African soccer team to do so after TP Mazembe of Congo DR in 1967 and 1968. @EnyimbaFC!
