Legendary Nigerian Singer and Guitarist, Sir Victor Uwaifo has died after a brief illness.
The singer recently celebrated his 80th birthday in March with friends and family all around him, celebrating his new typhoid.
The Guitar Boy as he was fondly called is the first proffesional musician to be awarded with the National Merit Honors Of member of the order of the Niger (MON).
Uwaifo was also the first commissioner for Arts, Culture and Tourism in Nigeria.
